 Timbaland. Real name is Tim Mosley. Birth date March 10.1971. American rapper in hip – hop style, producer. Started his career as club Dj. The earliest work of Timbaland – with Jodeci in albums “Diary of a Mad Band” and “The Show, The After – Party, The Hotel”. At the first he did In The Meanwhile and Sweaty, the second helped to write Bring On Da’Funk and Time And Place. His real debut was in 1996 by working with Aaliyah in her “One in A Million”, where Timbaland in Four Page Letter and If Your Girl Only Knew helped young Aaliyah to become a star.
In 1996 Tim participated together with Ginuwine in recording the album “The Bachelor” and accompanied his release hit Pony. But real success came after Tim’s debut single The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) his oldest partner Missy “Mesdemeanor” Elliott. These were unheard-of bits with with a strong original bass. Subsequent singles sock It 2 To Me, where Missy and Da Brat are playing the roles of aliens in the video clip.
In 1997 Timbaland released a solo album in the creative tandem with his old chap Magoo – “Welcome To Our World”. The album got platinum with the single Up Jumps Da Boogie (feat Elliot and Aaliyah), who took twelfth position of a hundred in “Billboard”. Than Timbaland worked on the soundtracks on the movies “Can’t Hardly Wait”, He with Missy composed original remix for Hit ‘Em Wit Da’ Hee. The samples sound organic with sythesized sounds. One of the best works from Timbaland is a track Aaliyah Are You That Somebody for the soundtrack for the movie with Eddie Murphy “Dr. Doolittle”. Also the same soundtrack was composed with Ginuwine, ALL SAINTS, Playa and his solo track Da Funk.
Even Mariah Carey has invited him to work on Babydoll in the album “Butterfly”. Timbaland with Missy Elliot produced tracks for the movie “Why Do Fools Fall In Love”: Destiny’s Child Get On The Bus, Coko, He Be Back, Busta and Missy Get Contact and Total What The Dealio. In 1998 Timbaland released his solo “Tim’s Bio: Life From Da Bassment”. This album wasn’t so much popular than the older one (“Welcome In Our World”), but should be mark out the single Here We Go, performed with Missy Elliott and Magoo. But the most impressive track from this album became Who Am I in a creative alliance with Twista.
Also the very original and interesting compositions are Fat Rabbit and Put ‘Em On. The same year Timbaland has helped Missy Elliott to release her second solo album, “Da Real World”, In 2000 a project “Timbaland And Magoo Indecent Proposal”w as completed, which has become a mew milestone in the development Timbaland – style. Being on top of hip – hop Timbaland is continuing his creative work and works with Beck, Limp Bizkit and No Doubt. Would like to work with Metallica, The Cranberries, Byork. In 2002 Timbaland released the album “Indecent Proposal” together with Mary (Magoo).
