However, because of the increased popularity of “Star Wars” the company had to refuse from showing “Star Trek” and new series shooting was stopped.
“Star Trek: The Next Generation” tells us about the adventures of new star craft of the United Federation of Planets “Enterprise NCC-1701-D” guided by Captain Picard. The story takes place hundred years after the events that filmed in “Star Trek: The Original Series”.
In the “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” the action takes place aboard the space station “Deep Space Nine” that is located next to space anomaly, a tunnel to another quadrant of the Galaxy. That means it is located on the border of the beginning expansion to the quadrant of the United Federation of Planets.
“Star Trek: Voyager” tells about the crew of the star craft of the United Federation of Planets named USS Voyager. The star craft was accidentally cast 70 light-years away from home without communication means and its crew is to spend about 70-75 years at maximal speed on their way back home.
“Star Trek: Enterprise” is a series about the beginning of exploring of the Universe. The action takes place one hundred years before the events of “Star Trek: The Original Series”. The humankind learned to fly at a light speed just recently and has got in touch with other races. The star craft “Enterprise NX-01” is the newest and perfect star craft of the humankind. It is about to complete the first distant flights, make new discoveries, try new technologies and establish new contacts with representatives of other races.
