 The W705 is a compact slider that comes in red and silver colors. The keypad is compact but very convenient. The phone has a 240x320 megapixel display.
The phone has an RDS FM radio and music player with Clear Stereo and Clear Bass features and supports AAC and MP3 formatted audio. The W705 has a built-in 120 MB memory and is supplied with 4 GB memory stick. You can expand the memory with the help of memory stick up to 8 GB.
The phone comes with 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom. Unfortunately, there is no autofocus. The camera will let you take pictures and record videos and then upload images and videos to blogs. The second camera will allow you to make video calls.
The W705 has an embedded accelerometer sensing direction and movement. The accelerometer will make the photos switch between the portrait and landscape mode. You will be able to switch the music tracks by simply shaking the phone. The W705 can also count your steps when you walk. What is more amazing, with this phone you can play games by tilting, flipping and shaking the phone. The Sony Ericsson W705 has a WiFi and this allows you to exchange the data with your PC and browse the web. The phone can also be connected to other devices by means of Bluetooth or USB cable. You will also have an access to Google Maps and YouTube services.
The W705’s battery will last about 10 hours in talk mode and around 400 hours standby mode without being recharged. You can apply animated wallpaper to this phone.
