Description
 The C902 is the first phone that changed the “K” letter for “C” for Cyber-Shot series. Cyber-shot phones were extremely popular in the last several years. However, they had rather inconvenient keypad and their firmware was not reliable. After changing these drawbacks the Sony Ericsson produced the C902.
The C902 is a candybar phone with super slim design. It has square keys that make typing messages convenient. The phone has a five-way pad for navigation and comes in black and red colors. The C902’s 320x240 pixel resolution display works well in most lighting conditions. To both sides of the screen the given phone has the touch-sensitive shortcuts that help activate camera, change autofocus, and switch from still to video and so on.
The C902 has a 5 megapixel camera hidden behind a cover. By sliding the cover open you will switch the phone to camera mode. The camera has stabilizer, flash, autofocus and face detection software. The given camera has an accelerometer, a device that makes the screen rotate into landscape or portrait mode when you turn the phone.
Another nice feature is called BestPic that lets you take nine pictures per second and thereafter select one of the nine pictures. Because the previous phones from Cyber-Shot series had problems with Xenon flash, the latter was replaced with more powerful LED flash than standard previous models had.
The C902 has a new application “Storyteller” that will let you create presentations from pictures in your phone.
The C902 has a media player that supports album art. The phone supports mp3 and ac audio formats. You can use stereo headphone or optional Bluetooth stereo headset to listen to FM radio. The built-in memory of C902 equals to 160 MB. The phone’s memory can be expanded to 4 GB.
The phone can be used as a USB Mass Storage Device. You will be able to drop and drag files from computer to phone and vice versa very easy. The C902 is a 3G phone that lets you download music and other contents with the speed of up to 3.6 Mbps.
Speaking about battery life, the phone has an adequate battery life, which is reduced due to the size of the screen. The C902 is maybe the best camera phone so far.
