The Samsung Seek is available through Sprint and it’s a full featured device intended to deliver a quality cellular phone experience. It’s a messaging phone with a fully QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen. It uses Sprint’s 3G network to deliver great speeds and phone quality is top notch. There’s a customizable menu system for your home screen and you can choose from three different colors when picking out your phone.

The phone is aimed at younger users that are keen on messaging, using social networking applications like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace and sending emails. The text messaging is fantastic. It displays in a threaded manner so it feels like you’re having an IM conversation and thanks to the QWERTY keyboard it’s really easy to type your messages quickly. Work those fast fingers and you’ll be an expert at delivering blasts of information in no time.

Accessing all your social networking sites takes only seconds with this lovely 3G phone. The Facebook interface is particularly elegant and it’s simple to post your thoughts. Again that QWERTY keyboard is really handy. You access the keyboard by sliding the top of the phone up and the beautiful thing is that the screen takes up most of that front so you get lots of size.

The camera is not impressive at only 1.3 megapixels. The photos don’t look particularly great. The memory can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card. There’s also the Spring Family Locator feature that parents will love. There are several applications available for the phone but it’s clearly designed to be a messaging and social networking phone over everything else. The price of $29.99 with a two year agreement is pretty great.
