The phone comes installed with Windows Mobile 6.1 and has all the best features of the award winning software. There are plenty of things to like with Windows Mobile 6.1 especially since its almost like using your regular PC user interface. With the Omnia running windows you can access Office documents such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word (for editing as well as viewing). Thirdly, you can download third-party applications and install them on your phone. We would also like to point out that this smart phone does not crash like many of the others using the Window Mobile software.
As far as multimedia goes this phone is a real winner. This beauty does just about everything. It has a 5 megapixel camera with built in face and smile detection and also LED Flash and digital zoom too. It's not the best optics in the industry but could defiantly be mentioned in the top ten. If you are a real picture taker you may wanna look towards one of the 8 mega pixel phones on the market. The rest of you will be happy with this gem. As with any good smart phone the music player is as good as it should be and plays just about any music format you can throw at it. The media player can even play back divx movies on the go.
The thing that really sets the Omnia apart from any other phone is the amount of memory you get with the unit. The mobile phone is available in 8GB and 16GB models and if thats not enough for you that you can add a 8GB microSD card if you wish.
