The Samsung Jet is a sleek touchscreen phone that’s ideal for multimedia mavens looking to play videos and listen to music. The 3.1 inch screen isn’t huge by any means but it’s designed to take up most of the surface area of the phone so it’s huge while still fitting nicely in your pocket. The native resolution of 480x800 is better than most phones of similar size and everything pictured looks terrific.

The processor inside is tabbed at 800mhz and while that might not mean anything to you just trust that it helps videos play magnificently well. You’ll have little trouble with different video formats as the phone is ready to play just about anything you throw at it. There’s a 5 megapixel camera that takes clear snapshots so you can share what you’re seeing with the world.

The Samsung Jet is really easy to use throughout. The videos look good and it takes good pictures but navigating the menus is a breeze too and the importance of such a feature can’t be underestimated. You can customize your home pages (there are multiple versions) with the widgets and apps that you desire. It’s easy to do so as well.

There’s a 3.5mm jack at the top of the phone so you can plug in your headphones and listen to all the music you’ve loaded. The phone comes with 2gb of memory and that will easily get you started. You can also insert a MicroSD card to really beef up the amount of stuff you can hold. If you’re looking for a phone that can also be your MP3 player the Samsung Jet is a decent choice. The music sounds really good, it’s easy to access the player and to browse through it. It all works very well.
