Armani meet Samsung. Fashion meets Technology. The Samsung Armani is what happens when you give a classic Samsung shape to a fashion icon like Armani. They have given the phone a real makeover and the results are sexy. The Emporio Armani logos are predominantly displayed on almost all sides of the phone with a logo across its entire back to really show who designed this great looker. The coolest thing in the phone might just be the LED light bar that runs down the length of the phone just like a neon tube. Underneath all the good looks is also not a bad little phone that does just about everything.

Just like the brand Armani this phone is loud and flashy. The Armani Night Effect is not like the previous Samsung Armani offering in that its not a touchscreen phone this time around. It uses a classic bar shape and dresses it up from there. The phone is pretty standard feature wise but the looks make it stand out of a crowd. The keypad doesn't use any new technology either opting for a regular numeric keypad instead. The phone does seem to be more of a regular phone that just looks like its been dressed up.

The camera is a humble 3 megapixels that takes a decent photo but there is no Flash to go with the autofocus which is a little odd to say the least. There is a music player is pretty good and includes a FM Radio but again for a phone of such stature there is limited memory and no standard 3.5mm headphone jack which really puts a damper on the fun.

The phone is a 3G phone so connectivity is quite good. The 3G connection lets you cruise the web at high speed and make downloads up to 7.2 Mbps which is nice. You can also use Bluetooth and USB to connect to it but again this is not a technology driven phone but more of a fashion statement.

This phone just doesn't do it as far as technology goes. It doesn't offer any of the latest technologies that make phones so much fun today. There are much better camera phone, music phones and web browser phones but for some reason its still a nice draw. If you are a basic phone user that just appreciates the extra features and mostly wants a really nice looking phone in their pocket then the Armani Night Effect is something for you. Otherwise there are much better phones on the market to chose from.
