Rosie O’Donnell is a comedian, actress and singer. She was born on the 21st of March 1962. Rosie O’Donnell started her comedian career by playing in “Star Search” film. At that time she was 20 years old. She filmed in “Stand by your man” comedy and acted in “Gimme a break” series. The participation in show helped her to improve her experience.

Her gamine character helped Rosie to receive the role of Doris Murphy in the series named”A League of their own”. She played Meg Ryan’s friend in “Sleepless in Seattle” and attorney in “Another Stakeout”. Rosie played in such films as “Exit to Eden”, “Now and Then”, and “Beautiful Girls”.

When Rosie was ten years old her mother died from cancer. After that time Rosie looked after her younger sisters. Once when she came home from the film shooting her accepted son didn’t want to come to her. This fact changed Rosie and Rosie decided to leave cinema and host her own daily talk show named “The Rosie O’Donnell Show”. This show won multiple Emmy awards.
