“Public Enemies” is a film about John Dillinger, a legendary gangster stealing money from banks. His adventuresome attacks turned him into an outstanding hero for all depressed people and the main target of the best FBI agent Melvin Purvis and his young chief J. Edgar Hoover.

No one could stop the gang of Dillinger. There was no jail that could restrain him from escape. Desperate breakouts of jail and the gangster’s enchantment made this criminal a famous person in society, which considered banks to be the main reason for the Great Depression. The adventures of daring gang inspired the steamed-up citizens. Meantime, Hoover made up his mind to seize his opportunity and turn the Investigation Bureau into the country’s main law-enforcement organization, FBI. He made Dillinger the most dangerous enemy of America, and called Melvin Purvis a person that would save the country, and the pride of Federal Bureau.
