Pitbull, the real name is Armando Christian Perez, was born, January 14, 1981 in Miami (United States) in Cuban family. He grew up under the influence of Cuban nationalist poet Hose Marti, and especially in Mayami Bass oriented sex. He released his official debut in music 2002 in Lil Jon’s album. When in 2004 the souther rap (Crunk) began to increase rapidly in popularity in urban radio, a talented guy from Miami Pitbull decided, that it’s his time to become famous.
He is quite indifferent to crunk, but to develop bass music he thought his creative duty. His parents were wealthy cuban immigrants and didn’t allow their son to forget the culture of native Cuba. They made Pitbull learn creativity of Cuban poet and write Josq Martu, and exactly because of this writer Pitbull understood the power and strength of the words in early childhood.
Moreover a very strong influence exerted Poison Clan and Luther Campbell, West Coast and of course New York City… all that attracted him hip – hop culture. Soon Luther Campbell contacted the beginner artist to join the single “Lollipop”
This single attracted the attention of Diaz Brothers management team, who later introduced Pitbull to the king of crunk – Lil Jon. It was the first step to their close collaboration on the album Lil Jon in 2002. Their joint track “Oye” even become the main saundtrack for the movie “2 Fast 2 Furious”. In 2002 Pitbull began his own solo career and works with the producer Lil Jon. His first solo song “Culo” was released for success.
Pitbull starts to participate in many hip – hop tracks and works with world famous stars like Ying Yang Twins, Elephant Man etc.
In 2004, he released his first album “M.I.A.M.I.”. In 2005 his track “Money Is Still a Major Issue” becomes his high budget song and track “Bojangles” starts mentally adjust the fanats to his next album “El Mariel”. Right after releasing this album, Pitbull said that his next album would be in Spanish and would be called “The Boatlift”.
Pitbull has released four albums (The last one is “Rebelution”, which was released in 2009).
