Winfrey Oprah is one of the most powerful and popular American TV hosts. She was born in Mississippi to a single mother. At first she was brought up by her grandmother. Oprah lived in poverty. Her life was very hard. She became pregnant when she was 14 years old. After some time her son died.

When Oprah was nineteen she was working in radio as a co-anchor in the local evening news. The way she delivered news made her unsuitable for radio news and she transferred to the morning show “People are talking” to become its host. Thereafter Oprah hosted another show named “A.M. Chicago”. In one year Winfrey Oprah prolonged the show and changed its name for “The Big Winfrey Show”. In three years Winfrey became the owner and producer of the show.

Afterwards Winfrey played in such films as “Native Son”, “The color purple”, and in miniseries named “The woman of Brewster Place”. The latter was produced in her film producing studio in Chicago.

Thereafter Winfrey concluded deals with ABC. As a result of the deals ABC and Winfrey produced “Before Women Had Wings” film and miniseries “The Wedding”. Next they Winfrey produced a remake of “Tuesdays with Morrie” and “David and Lisa”.

Winfrey wants that the films she produces to be amusing but at the same time touching one’s heart. She wants her films to uplift humanity and induce the mind. Winfrey tickles up her spectators to make their lives and the environment better. She forces people worry as she does it herself.
