The Nokia N8 is the first device the phone company has released that uses the new Symbian 3 operating system. The idea behind the new software is to bring their phones into the next generation. They’ve also packed it with Carl Zeiss wide-angle optics, a large sensor for better picture quality, a Xenon flash that offers mega power and lights any picture, a 150 millisecond latency speed on the shutter and a shorter time between images. That means you don’t have to wait around while the camera gets ready to snap the next picture. The video capture function on the N8 is also remarkable as it provides 720 pixel resolution. That’s HD quality and it looks freaking beautiful. There’s an HDMI out option on the phone so you can plug it right into your television to watch whatever you just filmed.

The Nokia N8 is well designed and really easy to use. The touch screen is great and well protected. The 3.5 inch size is perfect for sliding into your pocket or for viewing a movie or television show. You get 16gb of storage space to start and can expand it with 32gb cards. The Nokia N8 is a multimedia cell phone and it’s ideal for those looking to watch movies, take pictures, listen to music and talk on the phone. It’s expensive but the functionality is worth it.
