Another Nokia smartphone powerhouse that has a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, 3G HSDPA and 4GB of memory card. The N79 delivers just about all the features that make the N96 the flagship Nokia phone and at a much lower entry price. This unit is quite a treat since it didn't inherit the problems from the N96 and it only half the price too!

This phone is the must buy phone for any of you out there who consider themselves a power user and like the classic bar design phones. This one is better then N78 but it has a better camera and a keypad that works really well too.

The N79 is a the lightest Nseries phone from Nokia weighing in at only 100g. To top that all of it has a large 2.4 inch display that boasts 16 million colors and 320 x 240 pixels. The 4 way navigation key and keypad are just the right size and are quite user friendly.

Inside the phone has just about the everything the N96 including the 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics & Tessar Lens. It also features the autofocus, 20x digital zoom, dual LED flash and a photo editor to keep you snap happy. You can also take video and enjoy video calling at 480 x 640 pixels at 30fps and Stereo sound. The music player plays all your common file types such as: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA. IF you are bored of all the tunes you loaded n to the included 4GB memory card you can either listen to teh built in FM Radio or expand your memory to 16 GB. To listen to all your music you can choose between integrated Stereo speakers with 3D sound or the standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Other features included are GPS with the now free downloadable Nokia Maps that will keep you headed in the right direction. Just like the N96 its is a 3G phone so you can surf teh internet and check your email at speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. The N79 is really easy to connect to including: WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio connector, TV-Out.

For some reason Nokia is just not pushing this amazing phone so you won't see to many of them on the street. This could be a good thing as it will make it appear much more exclusive and still be kept in a lower price range. This is definitely a phone to take a good hard look at.
