Description Another powerful Nokia phone that does it all is the E51. From web browser to email support to the way to a good camera and music player there is no real downside here. It has support for the 3G HSDPA and WLAN so it can connect to just about any network. Its slim, sleek and light weight helping it become just about the best business phone out there today.
The phone has a classic look and a ton top end features that keep you connected and looking good too. Unfortunately the phone doesn't have a QWERTY keypad but its still easy to use and type your text. This phone delivers unlike the E50 which doesn't work so well.
You can keep this phone personal in choosing black, silver or pink trim to set off your personality. The rest of the phone is a simple and classic design that is both rugged and stylish at the same time. Its nice to see the 5-way navigation button in its familiar place and a few quick hit buttons to keep things moving. You can access all your favorite functions in just one push and the phone has a LED sensor to notify you of new emails.
Making things easy on the eyes is the 2 inch TFT display that shows off 16 million colors on a 320 x 240 pixel screen. A cool feature is that the phone can sense the ambient light around you and adjust the screen brightness to match. This keep your screen easy to see and saves battery life too.
The heart of this phone is the communications and organization applications and they all work just fine. The email support is wonderful with POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP protocols supported and supports attachment viewing for all common office formats. The web browser does as a good of a job as it can considering it only has 2 inches of viewing area available but is quite easy to use. To keep you surfing a high speed the E51 connects to 3G HSDPA and Wifi. It has a PC connection and a Quadband GSM to keep you connected anywhere in the world.
Other included features such as the 2 megapixel camera are standard. The camera allows you to take a decent picture and record video as well as make video calls. There is a good music player and FM radio too to keep you grooving to the beat and a included headset. The Nokia E51 has a built in 130MB of space to store all your music which can easily be upgraded to 4GB via a memory card. The battery life is not too bad considering it is a slim phone and shouldn't cause you any issues unless you are a real heavy user.
In summary the Nokia E51 is a pretty darn good business phone. Most corporate users will be quite happy with this little unit. The only thing that it doesn't have in comparison to the latest blackberry units is the QWERTY keypad. This highly recommended phone has virtually no downsides except the odd freezing issue but that shouldn't cause users much issue on this otherwise great Nokia smartphone.
