Description

The Nokia 7230 is a rectangular phone with curved edges and it comes in two colors: hot pink (mostly for the ladies) and graphite (for the men). You’ll find a few function buttons on the front of the phone along with the 2.4 inch TFT screen. Slide it up and the numeric keypad is revealed so you can dial out and get in contact with all your friends. The phone weights just 100grams and looks cool so you’ll feel good carrying it around. The resolution of the screen is 240x320 pixels and displays 256,000 colors.

The Nokia 7230 comes with 3G support and offers you easy access to Facebook and other social networking sites so you can post pictures and messages and interact with your friends. Any images or video you’ll be uploading are done at great speed thanks to the quality network. The phone features an internal memory of 45mb, which is basically enough to store your phone numbers and contact info. You’ll have to buy an SD card if you want to store anything else on there.

The 3.2 megapixel camera on the Nokia 7230 takes adequate pictures. There’s no zoom feature or anything else special. It’s just a picture snapper so it’s good for basic duty but not sufficient for high level work. That’s what you’d expect for a handset at this price point though. There’s a built-in music player that can handle MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC and WMA files. You can play your music for up to 27 hours using the phone’s battery power. The MP4 player can be used to watch video files, although the lack of support for other video formats is distressing. There are a small number of games for the handset but it’s nothing advanced.
