Description

The Nokia 6350 is available through AT&T and it’s a sleek clamshell phone made for those that need a simple handset for making calls and texting. It’s not a phone for those interested in watching movies, taking great pictures or having a bunch of apps to choose from. It’s priced to be basic but it looks and feels great so if you know what you’re getting then it’s a good deal.
The phone is slim and comes in red and grey. There’s a small screen on the front to display the time, who’s calling, etc. The display has a native resolution of 160x128. The handset weights less than 4oz and slips into your pocket easily. For those that are Earth-conscious the phone is made from 80% recyclable material. The internal screen has a 320x240 pixel display and looks sharp thanks to 16 million color support.
The display is customizable down to the font so you can make the Nokia 6350 look however you want it. You can store up to 1000 contacts in the phone and up to 5 numbers for each contact. Callers can be assigned their own ringtone and other features include a calendar, a notepad, a to do list, a calculator, text messaging, a stop watch and a speakerphone. It’s a pretty basic list of stuff but this is a pretty basic phone.
It’s not the most basic phone though. You can use it as a music player. You can go online and check out the AT&T music service to listen to songs from all your favorite bands. There’s also a selection of music videos for the multimedia aficionado. You can check out stuff like the Weather Channel’s mobile phone version to get a report before you head outside. The onboard memory is tiny with only 52mb so you’ll have to supplement that with an SD card up to 16gb. It’s a basic phone but it boasts more features than most in its class so it’s worth a look.
