Description

The Nokia 6260 is a clamshell design phone. The phone comes in two colors: black and silver. It has active TFT rotating display with the resolution of 176x208 pixels. The display can produce up to 65,536 colors. The phone has the embedded digital VGA camera with the resolution of 480x640 pixels. The camera is capable of capturing video. The phone comes equipped with MP3 player and FM radio. The Nokia 6260 supports polyphonic ringtones and True Tones. You will be able to listen to music via the embedded handsspeaker. You will be able to dial numbers by using voice. You will also be able to access most of the functions of the phone with the help of voice commands. You will be able to take voice notes with the help of the embedded voice recorder.
With the help of this phone you will be able to compose SMS, MMS messages with the help of predictive voice input feature and send them to your friends and family. The phone has such useful functions as clock, alarm clock, calculator, stopwatch, timer, currency converter as well as calendar. The phone can be connected to other devices by means of Bluetooth, Infrared, Pop-Port connector, and USB cable. The phone is equipped with Quickword and Quickpoint applications for viewing documents. The Nokia 6260 has 6 MB of built-in memory and 32 MB on MMC memory card. This phone is a triband phone. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. The phone’s battery will power the phone about 4 hours in talk mode and approximately 6 days in standby mode.
