The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music phone is designed for those that want their cell phone to be their primary music player. The Comes With Music service was launched for most of their phones and as a subscriber you get 12 months of access to unlimited music downloads for your phone. The service barely interested 100,000 people so it wasn’t a huge success but the phone maker is pushing forward in marketing the 5235 as the flagship product for their music service.

The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music features a 3.2 inch touchscreen with a 360x640 display. It supports up to 16 million colors for vibrant images and the display is capacitive, which means you can use your fingers or a stylus to enter your data. You can even write on screen and the phone will decode your handwriting and translate it to type. The design looks a lot like other recent Nokia devices so it’s nothing special but there’s plenty of functionality and it works exceptionally well.

The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music is all about the music player when you get down to it. All the major digital music formats are supported and you can transfer any files you might have via your computer. The interface is a breeze to use and if you’ve had a Nokia phone in the past you’ll probably be familiar with it. You can access your music by genre, album or artist and setting up playlists is easy thanks to their smart software. There’s a 3.5mm jack so you can use a headset and there’s support for BlueTooth 2.0. The video player isn’t going to wow you so don’t pick it up if you’re heavily interested in movies. The GPS feature and the Nokia Maps feature are both excellent and will provide great directions for you. It’s a good phone that doesn’t particularly separate itself from the rest of what Nokia does.
