Description

The Nokia 1800 is about as simple as a phone gets these days. It’s aimed at consumers that want a low price and the ability to make calls and text a little bit. It comes in dark blue, orchid red, silver grey and black. The phone is as simple as possible with a 1.8 inch TFT screen and the numeric keypad below it. The screen supports 65 colors and right below it you’ll find the call start and end keys, the navigation button and the numbers.

There’s a phone book built in where you can input all your friends and business contacts for easy access. You can assign speed dial numbers to some of your friends and browse to others using the name search. There’s a calendar feature to help you keep track of important dates and an alarm clock feature that allows you to choose multiple tons to wake up to. They’re pretty loud too so you shouldn’t have any trouble rising from bed..

The handset has minimal music capabilities. The built-in FM tuner allows you to find local radio stations but the speaker is rather poor so it doesn’t sound great. There’s a torch feature that allows you to light your way if you get stuck in a dark area. You can assign MP3s to be your ringtones and alarms if you want to wake up to something besides the preprogrammed stuff. The battery provides up to 8.5 hours of talk time and 528 hours of standby time.
