Motorola RAZR2 V80 is a clamshell phone with the stainless steel casing and just 11.9 m thick. It is also covered with hardened glass and chrome. The phone has a touch-sensitive external screen. When the music player is on you can use the touchscreen to choose music tracks. That is the phone can be used as a music player. The external screen can also be used to read, compose and send text messages. When the screen is not in use it shows the date and time, or incoming calls. The external color touchscreen display has the resolution of 240x320 pixels. The internal display also has the resolution of 240x320 pixels.

Motorola RAZR2 V80 has a video camera supporting MPEG4 format. The video can be recorded with 15 frames per second rate. One of the disadvantages is the fact that the camera has no flash. The phone has a Windows Media Player that can play back MP3, AAC, WAV, MIDI, WMA and some other formats. The Motorola RAZR2 V8 uses CrystalTalk technology that improves the clarity of sounding and reduces noise. If you hands are busy you can still talk by using the embedded hands-speaker. You can also set the phone to answer calls automatically.

If you don’t want to forget something then you can record voice notes. The caller ID feature lets you assign an image for the contact and next time when the given person calls you will see the image that was associated with that person.
