Being a 3G phone has many advantages including video calling, video messaging and and downloading video content like music videos and action sport shows. The phone can also tell you where you are using the GPS locator that is built right in.
The E1000 has a great screen to go with its features. It has a bright Active matrix TFT screen that supports 262,000 colors on 240 x 320 pixels of high resolution graphics. This makes for a real nice life like display of your photos and video content. To take those photos is a real good 1.2 megapixel digital camera that also doubles as a video recorder. It will keep most camera phone users quite happy with its quality.
There Motorola E1000 does have a music player that rivals the best in the business. It can play most common music formats and you can listen to the music using either a supplied headset or the dual 3D surround sound speakers. The speakers deliver a real high quality sound considering the small packaging. There is not much room for music on the 16 megabytes of internal memory buy you can use an optional TransFlash card. TransFlash cards are getting bigger in capacity all the time and currently support upto 256MB of storage space.
There is not much you can dislike on the E1000 considering its low price. It gives you great access to high speed web browsing using the 3G connection. That means you can stay connected to the office or your friends while on the go. Email, text messages and MMS too. The one thing that does plague this phone is sub par battery life that just seems to drain way too fast. The phone is a bit on the heavier side so that should be taken into consideration.
It plays music real well, takes really nice photos and you can do video calling all on a tight budget. The phone delivers great features for a low price. The phone is now superseded by the E1070.
