Description

The Motorola DEXT is a QWERTY side slider which runs on the Android OS making it different from other touch-only handsets in the market.

The phone is heavy enough at 163g and looks like it is solidly built. There is some movement and creak on the slide mechanism but can pretty much last. The company has a good choice of materials which stay relatively fingerprint-even if plastic is used throughout.

The phone has somewhat of an odd design. It has a touchscreen 3.1-inch, 320x480 pixel display but its sliding keyboard makes it a rather chunky phone. The phone is 58 x 114 x 15.85mm and is thus relatively thick. But if keyboards are your thing then this shouldn’t bother you.
