The LG Viewty Lite is the little brother of the LG Viewty Smart, a higher end smartphone packed with features. This one is aimed at the entry level market, which is basically the folks looking to spend a little less money. Are you in that group? If so you’ll likely find this phone to be hugely satisfying. The price is exceptionally reasonable at you get 3G functionality and an easy to use touchscreen along with one of the best cameras in the business.

The LG Vieety Lite is ideal for someone looking to get a phone for texting, taking pictures and talking. The 5 megapixel camera is one of the best at its level. It takes gorgeous shots and it comes with a Xenon flash so if you’re snapping pictures in the dark or at in a poorly lit environment like a party you’re going to come away with viewable, beautiful shots that will impress.

The device is rectangular with a sizable 3 inch screen. It feels weighty in the right way; it’s substantial but not so bulky that it’s going to be an annoyance. The web browser is easy to use and the 3G support means it’s fast getting wherever you need to go. The touch screen is a little slow to respond, largely because the phone’s basic design is old. Newer phones have more responsive screens but it’s not a huge detriment. It’s a matter of a few seconds delay at most.

It’s an appealing phone in most ways. The design is a little outdated but it’s an entry level device intended for folks without a lot of cell phone experience or much of a budget.
