Description

A really nice phone that text messagers and heavy emailers will just love. The LG KS360 has a slide-out keypad and a big screen and that makes it a winner right off the bat. Add to the mix a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio and a memory card slot with a entry level price and it becomes epic.

It may nit be an iPhone or Blackberry but for about $100 you have a heck of a phone in your hands. It has tons of features to love. The phone is nice and compact being a tad smaller then the iPhone albeit a bit heavier and thicker too. The added bulk is certainly due to the full QWERTY keypad that slides out for easy texting. Then there is the touchscreen that lets you run most of your phone without ever having to slide the keypad out. Texters will rejoice with the KS360 as SMS messages are nicely threaded for easy reading and there is a full range of colorful emoticons to express your feelings.

Back to the touchscreen on the LG KS360. You get a 2.4 inch screen that displays 262,000 colors and a high 240 x 320 resolution. The interface itself lets you make all your calls and just about everything else without having to open the slider. There are buttons on the face for easy navigation and dedicated call buttons too. You really only have to open the slider when you want to type a message or email.

Besides texting this phone can do a whole bunch more too. There is a 2 megapixel camera that may not be the best one out there but it will suffice for those moments on the go that you send to your friends. The camera doesn't have a flash which is a bit of a bummer but at this price we are willing to forgive.

The KS360 has you covered for music too. There is a nice little music player that will play most common music formats like:MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+. There is 15Mb of internal memory to get you going and there is an available microSD slot that can handle upto 4GB more. That should just about cover your entire music collection and if not you can use the built-in FM radio to keep you occupied.

This is alot of features for a entry level phone so its no surprise the connectivity wouldn't be able to keep up with the rest of the features. The phone does have Bluetooth which is a bonus but that's about it. The phone is also not a 3G phone but it does have WAP 2.0, GPRS, EDGE. Having limited connections has helped it keep a generous battery life which will make everyone happy.

Overall this is a heck of a mobile phone for the price. It has really impressed everyone who has seen it and anyone who spends a lot of time texting will surely loves this baby.
