Description  The Renoir simply does it all. The LG KC910 Renoir is the very first touchscreen phone to feature a 8 megapixel camera! Other features of this little dynamo is 3G video calling, 120 fps video recording, music player, high speed broadband internet, Built in GPS and an 8GB memory card. This could just be the best phone ever made. This phone is built around it high end camera and the rest of the phone follows suit.
The Renoir picks up where the Viewty left off and keeps on climbing higher. At first glance it resembles the Viewty and in no way is that a bad thing. It is slightly bigger than the Viewty but a little bit smaller than the iPhone. Its also not the lightest of the high end touchscreens but considering that it will help you stabilize it for optimal photos its considered a good thing. The big LCD touchscreen is the first thing you will notice on the Renoir and for good reason. It is 3 inches across and 240 x 400 pixels of ultra-high end resolution. Your photos will actually look real nice on this screen. The touchscreen itself is well designed and offers you a little feedback to tell you that you actually pushed a button which is nice. User will quickly grow to love the interface on the Renoir as they get more and more comfortable with the unit. While you learn to use the touchscreen and its applications there are some actual buttons underneath the display so that you can answer your calls.
Back to the massive 8 megapixel camera. This baby does it all and probably better then the standalone digital camera you have now. The camera is really top notch featuring a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, autofocus, and a powerful xenon flash too. There are also a few software toys on the phone to help you take the perfect shot. Video is a beauty too on this phone being able to capture movies in 120 frames per second which enables slow motion effects and playback. A secondary front facing camera is right there for 3G video calling.
It goes with out saying that the music player is as good as the rest of this package and can play all of your common music formats. What sets the phone apart here is the Dolby Mobile. The phone uses Dolby to enhance music and movies to sound their best on your phone. The Renoir can playback DivX movies so you can watch those on here too. To store it all the phone has 100Mb of internal memory but comes with a 8Gb microSD card to store all your digital media. Connectivity is top notch on this phone also. You can connect using: USB 2.0, Bluetooth 1.2, WiFi, which pretty much covers it all. This means you can surf the web and get all your emails in high speed too.
This phone is just about as good as it gets and a real solid if not better alternative to the iPhone 3G. You can't really find a flaw in this phone.
