Description
 The given film was produced by Quentin Tarantino. The story takes place in 1941 in Nazi-Occupied France. Colonel Hans Landa reveals a Jewish family in the house of French farmer. The people found hiding under the floor of the house are shot by following colonel’s order. However eighteen years old Shosanna Dreyfus managed to escape.
Meanwhile Lt. Aldo Raine gathers a group of American Jewish soldiers to perform sabotage operation on the territory of occupied France. The task of the group is to kill Nazis by the cruelest possible way in order to revenge, demoralize and frighten the entire German army. The gossips about the group quickly spread in Reich. The group received a nickname of “Basterds”. The commander of the group was named Aldo “Apach” because he and his soldiers took scalps from their victims. The gossips about Donny Donowitz, the member of the group nicknamed “The bear Jew”, reached Hitler and made Hitler angry.
Shosanna changed her name for Emmanuel Mimieux and became the owner of the cinema theater, which supposedly was inherited by her. She met German marksman Frederick Zoller which wanted to celebrate the film “Nation’s pride”. Zoller was attracted by Shosanna and persuaded Prime Minister Joseph Goebbels to move the opening of the film to the cinema of Emmanuel. The opening would be visited by the top executives of Reich and even Hitler decided to visit this propaganda event. Emmanuel decided to burn the cinema theater during the opening of the film to revenge for her family being killed.
Meanwhile British commandment decided to send Lt. Archie Hicox to “Basterds” in order to participate in “Kino” operation. The goal of the Archie is to terminate the superior executives during the opening of the film about Frederick Zoller. The group had to meet with enrolled actress Bridget von Hammersmark and with her help to get to the opening of the film. Bridget and the group met in a tavern where German soldiers drank alcoholic beverages at that time. As a result of unmasking of the group all of the “Basterds” that came to tavern died during exchange of gunfire. The actress was wounded to the leg. As a result it was necessary that von Hammersmark be escorted by Aldo and two soldiers. They pretended to be Italians.
As a result the plan of the group almost crushes and culmination of the group is taking place in cinema theatre. The rest of “Basterds” intend to blow up the cinema theater and Bridget intends to set it on fire. As a result Hitler was shot down by “The bear Jew” and the rest of top management of Reich died during explosion and fire in the cinema theater.
