Description

Gwen Stefani was born on the 3rd of October 1969 in Fullerton, California. She was a crazy vocalist of No Doubt ska-funkers, blonde, hooligan and simply a beauty.
The history of the group started from the brother of Gwen Stefani, Eric, who intended to gather his group and in 1987 he invited his sister as a back vocalist. At the very beginning No Doubt had only three members: Eric, Gwen and John Spence. Newly-made group played joyfully on all city parties and soon turned to quartet. They obtained a bass guitar player Tony Canal. Everything was going well, but suddenly a misfortune happened. John Spence committed suicide. The members decided to continue playing in the group. The group was changed. It acquired a new guitar player Tom Dumont and a drummer Adrian Young. Gwen Stefani became a leading vocalist. After hard work No Doubt acquired some popularity and in 1991 it concluded a contract with Interscope Records. The next year the group released its debut album. Though, the group was not lucky with the date of the album's release.
In 1991 Nirvana released her legendary album "Nevermind". America was swept over with grunge. The album of No Doubt turned to be out of fashion and all of its sales failed. As a result Interscope Records Company refused to backup the guest tour of No Doubt and finance the recording of the album. During two years the group records and releases its second album "The Beaker Street Collection" that was much similar to punk rock. Soon Eric Stefani left the group. (Later he became one of the animators of "Simpsons")
