Britney Jean Spears (December 2, 1981) is an American pop-singer, dancer and actress. Spears became popular thanks to such several successful albums and singles as «…Baby One More Time», «Oops!…I Did It Again». According to "Forbes" magazine, Britney Spears have sold around 75 millions of albums all over the world. She is number 55 among the best sold artists of the world and number 8 among the most sold actors of the USA along the whole history of American music.
Biography.
Britney Spears was born in Kentwood, Louisiana. Her father, James Parnell Spears was a builder, and her mother, Linn Irene Bridges, was a teacher at school. The elder brother of Britney, Bryan, is currently one of her managers. Her younger sister Jamie Linn is an actress and singer. Britney had received professional training of calisthenics and took part in regional competitions till she was 9 years old.
The beginning of music career.
Britney sang songs in church choir of the local Baptist church. When she was 8 years old she passed through auding for participating in "New club of Mickey-Mouse" show on Disney channel. Although producers thought that Britney is too young to take part in show, they still presented her to her agent in New York. Next 3 years Britney studied in Professional Performing Arts School in New York and participated in several performances, including Ruthless! year 1991. In the 1992 Britney took part in Star Search competition, but lost it in the second tour. In 1993 Britney returned to Disney Channel, where she took part in "New club of Mickey-Mouse" show for 2 years. In 1994 the show was closed and Britney came back to Louisiana. In Louisiana she entered the secondary school. First she sang songs in maidenly group called Innosense, but soon she decided to go solo. She recorded a demo disk that was later received by producers of Jive Records. Jive concluded a contract and thereafter Britney started traveling around the country, performing in supermarkets and working with boy band called ‘N Sync.
