The Blackberry 8520 is a candybar design phone. It has convenient QWERTY keypad. It is fitted with large color display with the resolution of 240x320 pixels. The display can show up to 65,000 colors. The Blackberry 8520 is equipped with 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom. The camera is capable of recording video.

The Blackberry 8520 has media player that can playback MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA formatted files. You will be able to listen to music via the integrated handsspeakerphone. You will be able to take voice notes with the aid of built-in voice recorder. You will be able to dial numbers by using voice. The phone supports MP3 ringtones.

The Blackberry 8520 has web browser. With the help of EDGE technology you will be able to download web content at great speed.
