Description  Beyonce Knowles was born in 1981 in Houston. First she debuted on musical walk of life with such popular R&B group as "Destiny's Child". She managed to become famous not only as a member of a group, but also in solo career. She was rewarded nine prestigious "Grammy" awards. Six of them were given to her as an independent singer.
Beyonce was very shy girl. She carefully hid that her mother owned a beauty salon, because she didn't want to attract attention to herself. It is not known what fortune would give Beyonce. When she was seven years old she entered the arts school. Her teacher noticed that the girl is in reality very talented. Soon Beyonce participated in contest with John Lennon's composition "Imagine". Everybody, including her parents, was surprised after viewing her performance. Nobody could imagine that the stage would change the girl so greatly. Since that time Beyonce was confident that she would become a real singer and even thought of a nickname for herself – Sasha. Beyonce managed to make a perfect career because she was talented, persistent, committed and worked hard. As soon as "Destiny's child" group was formed she could not let herself to relax. And the award didn't make it wait. "Destiny's Child" is still considered a record holder on sales among women's groups.
In 2002 Beyonce decided to perform on her own. She helped to record songs for Jay-Z. (This guy at present is her boy friend).
Thereafter in 2003, Together with Luther Vandross she took part in making a remake of the song named "The Closer I get To You". The experiment passed well and the performers were given "Grammy" in the nomination "The best vocal"
Inspired by this event, in 2003 the girls worked on her solo album named "Dangerously in love". The song "Crazy in Love" performed together with Jay-Z beats all records of popularity. The album itself reaches the top of world charts. Four million copies of disks sold in the USA and eight million in the rest of the World. This was a real success.
Beyonce continued receiving awards. In 2004 on the ceremony of rewarding "Grammy" awards Beyonce won in five nominations. Her album received the title of "The best contemporary R&B album"
In 2005 the singer presented her new composition "Check On It" with the assistance of "Slim Thug"(rap).
In 2006 Beyonce received Grammy for her duet song with Stevie Wonder, called "So Amazing"
Once Beyonce told about her desires to be worthy of Grammy, Emmy and Oscar. She received Grammy, and in great quantity at that. So everything is just to follow. The girl performs her duties with palpitation and only improves her professional level in due time.
Beyonce realizes herself as a cinema actress. In 2001 she was filmed in MTV project named "Carmen: A hip hopera". Since that time practically every year a film with her participation has been released.
Or rather, remarkable, that as a real high-society woman, Beyonce is running a parallel business. She brands the toilet water "True Star" and "True Star Gold" (created together with Tommy Hilfiger), advertises the products of such famous cosmetics firm as L'Oreal. The girl tries herself in modeling. Her brand-name clothes are called House of Dereon.
