 Her creation will undoubtedly interest teenagers and even some advanced adults. As an aggressive skate-pank from provincial town named Napanee (Ontario) with a population of 5000 residents, she was ready to give her real and sincere music that came from the very heart. She could sit at one place and always strived to be in the limelight. She never worried that the people around her would think about her. I just want to dress as I want, do what I want and sing about anything I want. In short, she was doing anything to be different from others.
From the age of 2 she amazed her listeners with her voice and knew about her assignment. "I remember that when I was very young I stood on a bed imagining standing on a scene surrounded by thousands of people and sang a song." Since that time Avril sang everywhere and whenever she had a chance, including church choir and city fairs.
Avril dreamt to leave a small town and become a star. After coming to New York she started bettering her art in writing songs. There she was noticed by Antonio LA Rida who took her to sound recording company "Arista". She started creating and became working actively over her debut album "Let Go". She literally lived in studio. But unfortunately she didn't get what she wanted. Avril wanted to write and compose her own music, but he was offered to hire someone to compose songs for her. Although Avril worked with very talented people the songs that she sang were not soulful. This was a really difficult period for Avril and she didn't give up. The guitar was her escape from severe reality. "When I feel bad and I want to express myself I take my guitar. It seems that the guitar cures me"
By asserting her right for her independence in creation she moves to Los Angeles where she receives the inspiration and the confidence in herself. She had a strong wish to become famous and popular.
In Los Angeles she meets song production director Cliff Magnes and understands that her destiny presents her a gift. They instantly got a mutual understanding because Cliff understood the Avril's pursuits. He didn't only hamper her but also let her direct. The songs "Let go" directed by Cliff Magnes and "The Matrix on board" group started to appear one after another. Avril was happy. Her song "Complicated", as a singer asserts, is about life, about the falsehood in the relation between people and about the difficulty to resist other's pressure. It was simply a song about life. One of the most famous songs of Avril is "Losing grip" that has a lot of private things, and the song "Unwanted" that opens her entity and compares the betrayal and hostility. "I'm with you" is a lyric song. It shows an inner world of the grown-up Avril. "My word" and "Mobile" are the songs that describe a crazy (full of new impressions and mood changes) life of artists.
In the whole "Let go" album is an amazing way to speak about herself. "I fly everywhere and everyday I receive new impressions. This is a style of my life. I don't want to have a normal life as it is very boring" – admits the singer. "I always was a madcap and I'm still a madcap. I played hockey in winter and baseball in summer. I liked playing with boys."
Avril thinks that after the release of her album nothing changed in her attitude towards life. Her concert tours with a skate-panks and rockers team are very steer, unpredictable and bright as all of her life in her childhood. " I can't wait anymore. I want to conquer the World"
