Description
 Avatar is a science fiction film about the relationships of Terrans and the Native residents of the planet similar to Earth in some other galaxy.
The story occurs in far future on Pandora, the planet similar to Earth. The Terrans traveled to Pandora because they wanted to mine a very precious mineral named Unobtanium that was only present on this planet. The biggest minefield of this mineral was under a big tree that local people Na’vi named “Hometree”. This tree was pretty significant for the local residents.
Unfortunately for Terrans they couldn’t begin mining Unobtainum because Na’vi people didn’t let them to. The Terrans offered Na’vi clothing and other things but Na’vi didn’t agree. The only thing the Terrans leaded by Parker Selfridge, a military leader of the mining operation, could do, in their minds, was to blow the area around the tree up.
The Na’vi people that live on Pandora are humanlike creatures with cat-like features. The Na’vi people are more powerful and higher than Terrans. Na’vi people reside in harmony with Nature. The human scientists wanted to learn Na’vi’s culture and, therefore, they produced “avatars”. Avatars have Na’vi bodies changed with DNA of Terrans. Avatars are directed by using the power of mind. The avatars were employed to cooperate with Na’vi people and attempt to create peace.
Jack Sally is an ex mariner, who was wounded in Venezuela and was a prisoner to chair. His twin brother was a scientist and had to travel to Pandora. Unfortunately Jack died on the eve of flight. And Jack was offered to substitute his twin brother in controlling avatar. The initial motive of Jake was to earn enough money for very expensive operation and start walking again.
The mission of avatar of Jake on Pandora was to insinuate himself into one of the Na’vi’s tribe confidence. This tribe’s settled on the territory of the richest deposits of this precious mineral. Officially Jack was charged to find the way to persuade the native people to migrate. However, by the order of army men Jack also collects information for the case if a problem is to be solved by using power. Beautiful aborigine woman Neytiri, chief’s daughter, rescues Jack from death and since that time Jack starts communicate with the tribe. The Jack is accepted to their clan and he learns to be one Na’vi, by completing many tasks and going through many tests.
As far as the relationships between Jack and Neytiri become closer, he learns to respect beautiful and harmonic world of Na’vi. Soon the management of the Terran colony takes decision to drive out aborigines from their area by using force. At the moment this decision was taken Jack and Neytiri become too close to each other. Jack understands that expelling Na’vi by using force will become a disaster. He takes several attempts to persuade the management in that, but the management doesn’t agree. Then Jack and several of his like-minded persons excite a riot and Jack gets to the guard-house.
Those who left out of prison organize escape. After stealing the equipment for controlling avatar’s Jack comes over Na’vi and by uniting all tribes leads them to the battle against people. During fierce battle aborigines and rebels manage to defeat Terrans and destroy Colonel Quaritch, which advocated the idea of destroying Na’vi. The people that left alive were allowed to return to the polluted Earth that lacks natural environment given that the mining of Unobtanium on Pandora will be completely stopped.
Jack stays with aborigines and completely breaks the connection with his human body. He transfers to his avatar with the help of biological energy of home tree, which is being deified by aborigines and which favor Jack from the very beginning. This tree unites the forest into a single ecological system with the help of its root system and flying spores. The tree supports the balance of the living world of Pandora.
