Description

Tupak Shakur was born on 13 of September, 1971 in New York, Brooklyn. His mother was Efeni Shakur and father was not known. Starting from 1968 Efeni was an active member of Black Panther Party that was a radical wing of movement of human rights protection. This party provided a medical service and breakfasts for children in black ghettos. Its dark side was that it acquired firearms for leading guerilla war. Now it is hard to believe that 30 years before FBI led searches and arrests of those who were involved in this movement. On April 1969, Efeni Shakur was arrested together with 20 other members of New York "black panthers" because of being suspected in murders, armed robbery and planning of acts of terrorism. The judicial process lasted 25 months and while Efeni waited for her turn in court, she was courted by two potential fathers of Tupak: drug seller Legs and certain Billy, the member of "Black panther" party. No one knows the real father of Tupak Shakur. What is well known is that Efeni's husband divorced with her after he found that she was pregnant.dom on rule ended soon and Efeni returned to women's community while still being pregnant. She struggled for the right to have her daily ration: one egg and a glass of milk. Efeni cries when she remembers about her stay in prison. She had no hope to bear a live child in such conditions. When Tupak was 17 he moved with his mother to Marvin City (California). Efeni states that namely in Marvin City Tupak passed his life school, in the city where "niggers rock the streets". He sold drugs, met everyone in the district, and became a "walking trick" for all niggers. The main thing that created problems for Tupak was the lack of money. "I have seen all these niggers that had women, cars, houses, while I had nothing… They liked me so as one can love a mongrel or a local drug addict." But not everything was so dull for the to-be-star of the Marvin City. After passing audition, Tupak was admitted to DIDGITAL UNDERGROUND group. This group was already well-known by the moment he entered it. After having a new vocalist, the group made tours in USA, Japan, and stroke the audience by its program. The main element of this program was Tupak, who danced with rubber woman. During these tours Tupak called home and learned that his mother took to drugs. This was a real shock for him. The feeling of compassion mixed with the feeling of loss of respect to the ex-"black panther", who was an ideal of Tupak childhood.
