Nokia has decided to put the Ovi Share service on hold and focus instead on growing the Ovi Store. It has decided to pull its funding for the media sharing service. It will however keep the service running and try to further integrate other sharing services like Facebook and Flickr rather then compete against them. The largest cell phone maker is instead revamping the Ovi Store in order to create more revenue. When Google launched its Android Market they only had 50 apps ready for download. Nokia wants to make a bigger splash and announced that it would open its Ovi Store with over 20,000 items available to download. Out of those 20,000 it is not known how many ill be actual apps. That 20,000 includes video, music and ringtones so its hard to say how many actual applications will be available. As a comparison the Apple Store has 40,000 actual apps ready for download right now. I guess we will have to wait and see at the launch date.

Chinese manufacturers love taking popular phones and creating cheaper clones of them. They chose the best selling mobile phones on the current market and make a some-what duplicate of them. Right down to the names sometimes. The Nokla 5800 is a budget clone of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It is a full touchscreen phone that has most of the same features of the Nokia but lacks its stylish looks. When searching out clones make sure the replicate all the features you are after. Its usually the handy small stuff that the knocks offs miss in reproduction. Yet they are handy for the pocket book.
