Palm has made a couple of announcements that are sure to please consumers. First it has announced the availability of the new Palm Pre mobile phone. A sleek and black unit with a full QWERTY keyboard and a big bright touchscreen. Palm has also announced an update to their WebOS. The new version is 1.0.2 and you can download it instantly over the air from your Palm mobile phone. The new OS includes different bug fixes and a new clock application complete with alarm clock. Also they have adjusted the speed of return to capture mode when taking successive photos on the camera.
