Who would have thought a phone could possibly get this small? Well, LG presents the new watch phone. It is everything that a person looks for in a simple phone. It even includes a touch screen, which most phones still don’t offer. The LG GD910 comes with a built in speaker for your phone calls, but also includes Bluetooth capabilities. The Bluetooth capabilities allow the user to talk on their watch phone in private instead of using the speaker phone. The LG watch phone is only available in France right now, but will come in handy anywhere when users get tired of carrying cell phones.

The decline in the market is mostly based on the smartphones. The final version of Mobile Windows 6.5 is finally out on the market. It seems as though the Windows phone will be out for consumers before the end of the year. With that in mind, people will see some similar features like MyPhone and Marketplace. The switch from the Windows Mobile brand to the Windows Phone is Microsoft trying to compete with the iPhone. It seems as though the mutli-touch hardware that Windows will be using for the phone seems that it will be very popular. On this Windows phone the consumer will see all the features that competitor’s phones have. It will have many popular features, but with the same Windows experience.

Nokia has seen its profits drop in the 2nd quarter of 2009 to about 600 million USD. That is a 71% drop from last years 2 billion USD. That is quite a drop for the worlds largest mobile phone manufacturer. Not only are profits down but sales numbers are down too about 25 percent. Nokia did manage to ship about 100million units during the 2nd quarter which is only about 15% less than last year. Nokia also said that it was expecting numbers like this since the global mobile market has shrunk about 10% versus 2008.

If you are one of the 11 million World of Warcraft players you will just love this new iPhone app courtesy of Blizzard. The World of Warcraft app gives iPhone and iPod Touch users access to the WoW armory database. If you don’t know what that is, it happens to be the place that tells you just about everything going on inside the game: event calendars, equipment lookups, player-versus-player information, and tons more. The application has been available as a browser based website but now it has been rebuilt just for the iTunes store. Head on over to the iTunes shop and get downloading.

Once again Google has done some upgrades to its mobile search for the iPhone running OS 3.0 and Safari web browser. The new update will start to show location based results using the MyLocation feature. That means if you type in something like “Italian Restaurant” while in Manhattan you will see local restaurants listed first. This feature has actually been available for sometime for those that have installed iPhone Google MObile App. It is now available without any installs the way it should be.

Just when you didn’t think your iPhone could get any cooler, Capcom announces the release of Resident Evil 4 later on in July of 2009. The popular gaming franchise is set to got for the iPhone. If you take a look at the screen shot we received you can see that the control will be on-screen. The interface and graphics will be familiar to players of past Resident Evil games on other platforms. The only question is why release Resident Evil 4 and not Resident Evil 5. Either way get ready to kill zombies!
