Reports out of New York indicate that the New York MTA and Long Island Rail Road railways have asked for more information on making broadband wireless Internet available on all public trains. The wireless service would be used for all the consumers of the USAs largest commuter train network but also for internal operation use. This means that New Yorkers can expect a trail service coming to one of the railways in the near future. This is exciting news for all of New York’s daily commuters.

In a much needed and bold move the European Commission has mandated that mobile manufacturers standardize all cell phone chargers using the micro-usb port.
