Now that the Apple iPhone 3GS is out the question is did we really need one? The S is more more expensive and only has limited upgrades over the standard “G” model but that should not upset anyone. Rumours have it that Nokia is looking to jump into the netbook market with a new Android operating system based machine. The news comes even after Nokia and Intel announced their collaboration on the Moblin & Maemo Linux platforms. Website GigaOm is reporting that the new netbook will be ARM-based and will run with Google’s Andriod OS. Nokia plans to sell the units using their carrier network. It will be a struggle for Nokia since the market is currently dominated by traditional PC manufacturers.

Thanks to a accidental posting on their website which showed off the CPU specs on the new mobile phone. According to the website the new iPhone 3GS will have a 600mhz processor with 256Mb of RAM. This is a step up from the 412mhz and 128MB of RAM that has powered the iPhones uptil now. The new iPhone is coming later this month.

We have all known about the Nokia N86 mobile phone since the announcement in February of this year. Now Nokia has announced that shipments of the N86 have been gone to their global retail stores. Palm has made a couple of announcements that are sure to please consumers. First it has announced the availability of the new Palm Pre mobile phone.
