Ghost in the Ghost in the Blackberry Pearl MachineBlackberry Pearl Machine

This video was posted by a Blackberry Pearl user. It shows the phone as the user tries to access his Google Apps and then places the phone next to a LED Flashlight. As soon as the mobile phone is placed next to the flashlight it starts to blink wildly. As soon as the phone is moved away it stops. It seems the phone is possessed or has a mind of its own. The odd thing is that the flashlight does not have a radio control of any kind. The user also reports that his phone is a factory refurbished model Blackberry Pearl. Anyone with one of those experience the same thing?

Apple now offers iPhone without a contract

Filed Under (Apple iphone 3G) by admin on 28-03-2009

Apple started selling the famous iPhone without a contract in what could be a stock clearance move to make room for a new iPhone release. Just pop by your local Apple retail store and check out the iPhone 3G as it is being offered at $599 for the 8GB version, and $699 for the 16GB version and no contract obligations or carrier locks. You can then simply log on to the iTunes store and activate your phone as you please. More importantly is that this could lead to a new iPhone release and makes me wonder what could be new.

If you can remember that far back you will see classics like the Motorola 8800X which was described as “the brick” for many years and for a good reason too. Readers dug up phone like Sony CM-H333, motorola MR201, and Ericsson T28 World. The Ericsson even had old school tetris on it and a plug in keyboard for easier texting. This walk down memory lane is worth it as you chuckle at the relics of time. If you can’t get enough you will want to check out website Tech Radar since they feature one retro phone each week

2 whole years since the first Samsung Alias was released we are getting word of the next generation of the Alias line. The phone will be a clamshell design but with a kick. It will have dual hinges and the keypad below will dynamically change depending on how the clam was opened. If opened in landscape mode the keypad will display a QWERTY keyboard for easy texting. While if opened in portrait view it will display the standard numeric keypad for easier calling. This is a great idea and should make for a great phone. The Alias 3 will also have a touchscreen on the front which will allow you to control your music without having to open your phone.
